Last night, about 20 minutes after 4 in the morning, the intrusion monitors we had set up went off and I led my elite MCDS Security Commando Team into the barn to investigate. When we arrived, nothing seemed out of place. When we further investigated the location, my staff found reindeer hoofprints on the roof and bits of melting snow in the upper hayloft storage area. Also, the hay-loading door, which had been padlocked from the outside was open. We also found a half-eaten bag of holiday cookies (the kind with the jellied cherry center) in a pile of hay in the loft and assume that somebody was hiding there. As you informed me, this was the location that had a cell phone call made to it "accidentally" a few nights ago and I would agree with your summation that perhaps somebody has put things together. If this is the case, our entire plan is in serious jeopardy. I've had my computer staff check the electronic pass key records and there is only one elf who was outside the complex during this time. In fact, the elf - who is now missing, was out of the complex the last few nights including the night of the "accidental" phone call. I've issued an EPB (Elf Point Bulletin) to all my security staff that he is to be caught and held in solitary. He will not be allowed to talk to anybody else. We need to contain this now.
